Mann Mcgowan DD1 1703 | Rebated Heavy Duty Auto Drop Seal

Description Mann McGowan DD1-1703 is a rebated heavy duty auto drop seal which provides fire, acoustic, cold smoke and weather sealing. The DD1-1703 drop seal has achieved a 60 minute fire rating and has an excellent acoustic performance of up to 50db. The auto drop seal has been tested for 200,000 opening and closing cycles. The DD1-1703 auto drop down threshold seal has a twin adjustable insert, this allows the drop mechanism to be adjustable at both ends for both downward movement and tilt control to provide an enhanced seal. This high quality aluminium door bottom seal is suitable to seal gaps of up to 18mm. The DD1-1703 drop down seal has a slide and click mechanism for quick and easy installation, which allows you to be able to remove the seal without removing the door. The inner mechanism slides out, so the outer casing can be fixed to the rebate with the screws supplied and then the inner mechanism can be slid back into place. Full fixing instructions are supplied with the product. Mann McGowan DD1-1703 auto drop seal has been successfully tested to BS 476 Part 22 for fire resistance, BS EN 1634 for cold smoke sealing and BS EN 10140-1 and BS EN 10140-2 for acoustic performance. The DD1-1703 is available in lengths of 630mm, 830mm, 930mm, 1030mm, 1130mm and can be trimmed by up to 100mm for a bespoke size.
