Applique 37 | Surface Mounted Drop Down Seal

Description The Applique 37 Surface Mounted Drop Down Seal is a retrofit automatic threshold door bottom seal. This automatic drop down seal closes the gap between the door and the floor providing an effective seal against fire, smoke, noise and weather conditions. The easy to fit anodised aluminium surface mounted drop seal includes 4 self extinguishing rubber fins and has been endurance tested to 200,000 cycles and can also be adjusted with the plunger to offer a 14mm maximum drop. The drop seal is provided with screws and in a variety of lengths. If you require a bespoke size the seal can be cut down by 150mm on the side opposite the plunger. The Applique 37 Surface Mounted Drop Seal can be used for both timber and metal door assemblies, fitted on either the inside or outside of the door. This drop seal also complies with document part E and part M of UK building regulations. Acoustically rated up to 37 dB Rw, according to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 test report, smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3:2004 and fire tested to 60 minutes to BS476: Part 20/22: 1987.
