The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller is similar in design as its cousin the Submariner in that it features an all-steel finish and a black dial and bezel set. Unlike the Submariner, however, it boasts an incredible depth rating of up to 4,000 feet, which it can attribute to the addition of a Helium Escape Valve on the case. The ref. 16600 also includes many desirable dive watch features, such as a lumed display in white gold surrounds, a unidirectional timing bezel topped with a 60-minute diver’s scale, and a high-beat calibre 3135 Perpetual movement. The ref. 16600 also includes a 40mm case and a sapphire crystal without the usually-present Cyclops lens over the date, which are all very desirable traits of the Sea-Dweller line.
